1. Task Upgrade: Automated Task Creation from Meetings & Dialer + Task Comments
Introduction This update introduces two new automated task creation channels — Meetings and Dialer — along with a new Task Comment feature that enables real-time collaboration and progress tracking within tasks.
Background Previously, all tasks had to be manually created, limiting automation and cross-feature integration. With this release, Flashrev bridges tasks with meetings and dialer workflows, ensuring every actionable follow-up is automatically captured and assigned.

Automated Task Creation from Meetings

After each meeting ends, Flashrev’s AI automatically extracts action items from the meeting transcript.

Each action item is assigned to the relevant meeting participant and automatically converted into a task.

The task detail view clearly shows the source meeting and the AI-generated task description.

Automated Task Creation from Dialer

Admins can now configure task automation under Call Dispositions by setting the action to “Create a Task.”

When an agent selects that specific disposition after a call, a task is automatically created and linked to the corresponding contact.

In the task details, users can see the originating disposition and related contact information.

New Task Comment Feature

Users and admins can now leave comments directly on tasks to communicate updates, share context, or discuss progress.

All comments are recorded in real time, creating a clear communication trail for every task.

2. Meeting Update: Sync Meeting Data to HubSpot
Introduction This update introduces full HubSpot integration for meeting data. Users can now seamlessly connect their HubSpot account to Flashrev and automatically sync meeting participants, events, and summaries directly into HubSpot’s CRM.
Background Previously, users had to manually log meetings and notes into HubSpot, which often led to inconsistent or incomplete CRM data. With this integration, every meeting and its insights are automatically recorded and organized in HubSpot, ensuring sales and customer teams always have the latest information at hand.

Users can now connect their HubSpot account directly from Meetings → For You or Settings → Meetings → Integrations.

Once connected, users can configure what meeting data to sync automatically.

Automatic Contact Creation

When new meeting events are detected in the connected calendar, Flashrev automatically creates HubSpot Contacts for all participants who don’t already exist in HubSpot.

Meeting Activity Sync

Meeting events are automatically logged to the relevant HubSpot Contacts and their associated Companies and Deals under Activity → Meetings.

Meeting Summary Sync

Once a meeting ends, Flashrev automatically sends the AI-generated meeting summary to the corresponding HubSpot Contacts, and to all associated Companies and Deals, recorded under Activity → Notes.

Background Previously, new users often missed the right moment to enable the AI Meeting Agent or were unsure how to allow the bot to join meetings on different platforms. This enhancement ensures users receive clear, platform-specific instructions for a smoother Live Coach setup.

When a user visits the Meetings → For You page and the system detects an active meeting where the Live Coach can be enabled, the AI Meeting Agent icon will animate to alert the user that the agent is currently recording.
