FlashRev - Outreach
1. Sequence Update – Option to Skip US Holidays
We are enhancing the Sequence scheduling capabilities with a new option to automatically skip US public holidays. This improvement ensures that outreach efforts are paused during major holidays, helping teams respect customer time and optimize engagement.

Background on Changes
Previously, Sequence schedules did not account for holidays, which could result in outreach being sent on days when customer responsiveness was low or engagement might appear insensitive. This update introduces built-in holiday awareness, starting with US public holidays.
Key Features
-
Holiday-Aware Scheduling:New option in Sequence setup: “Do not send on US public holidays.”When enabled, the system checks scheduled dates against the US holiday calendar.
-
Automatic Adjustments: If a scheduled date falls on a US holiday, the system automatically postpones execution to the next available day.
Benefits
-
Improved Engagement Timing: Ensures outreach lands on business days when customers are more likely to respond.
-
Respectful Communication: Avoids sending messages during national holidays, improving brand perception.
-
Operational Efficiency: Reduces the need for manual schedule adjustments by automatically accounting for holidays.
2. Sequence Update – Optimized Email Selection Logic for Adding Contacts

We have enhanced the email sender assignment process in Sequences to simplify how contacts are added and managed. This update streamlines the workflow by leveraging existing email pools, saving users time and reducing repetitive configuration.
Background on Changes Previously, every time contacts were added to an existing sequence, users had to repeat the process of assigning sender email addresses. This was time-consuming and error-prone, particularly for teams managing multiple contacts across complex sequences. By enabling the reuse of configured email pools, the system now automates part of this process.
Key Features
-
Email Pool Reuse: • When adding new contacts to an existing sequence, users can now directly select the pre-configured email pool as the sender address. • No need to manually assign one or more sender email addresses for each new contact.
-
Simplified Workflow: Reduces steps required for setup, especially when managing larger groups of contacts.
Benefits
-
Time Savings: Eliminates manual reassignment of sender addresses for each new contact.
-
Consistency: Ensures that all contacts in a sequence use the same, pre-approved email pool.
-
Improved Efficiency: Makes it easier for teams to scale outreach while maintaining control over email sending.
3. Blocklist Optimization – Fix for Soft Bounce List Release Issue
We have resolved an issue affecting the soft bounce list behavior in FlashRev. This fix ensures that email addresses temporarily blocked due to bounce notices are now automatically released on schedule, restoring normal email delivery.

Background on Changes Previously, addresses added to the soft bounce list from a sequence remained blocked even after the release date had passed. This caused certain contacts to remain unreachable for email delivery, reducing outreach efficiency and creating gaps in engagement.
Key Features
-
Accurate Soft Bounce Handling: When an email sent via a sequence receives a temporary unreachable bounce notice from the provider, the recipient address is placed on FlashRev’s soft bounce list. During the 7-day hold period, no further emails are sent to that address.
-
Correct Automatic Release: Addresses are now reliably released after the 7-day window, ensuring they do not remain permanently blocked.
Benefits
-
Restored Deliverability: Ensures that contacts are accessible again once the bounce window expires.
-
Improved Reliability: Users can trust bounce handling works as intended without manual intervention.
-
Higher Efficiency: Prevents unnecessary loss of contact opportunities due to improperly extended blocking.
4. Bug Fix – Text-to-Speech Voicemail Voice Switching and Audio Playback
We have fixed two issues affecting the text-to-speech voicemail generation feature, improving both customization and reliability for users creating AI-generated voice messages.

Background on Changes Previously, when users customized their voice selection for text-to-speech voicemails, switching between voices sometimes failed, forcing repeated attempts. In addition, during preview playback, audio corruption occasionally occurred, disrupting the review process. These issues hindered workflow efficiency and reduced confidence in voicemail generation.
Key Features
-
Voice Switching Fixed: Users can now reliably switch between different voices when generating voicemails.
-
Corrupted Audio Resolved: Addressed a sporadic issue where audio became corrupted during preview playback.
Benefits
-
Improved Reliability: Users can seamlessly switch voices without errors.
-
Higher Quality Previews: Audio playback during preview is now stable and consistent.
-
Better User Experience: Creating personalized AI-generated voice messages is smoother, faster, and more dependable.
